Collective Unconcious

A television receiver pours out a constant stream of nothingness. Nothing beyond the TV exists. Even the people in the audience can not be seen. This is not Nirvana.

Everyone in the world watches the Super Bowl simultaneously. Our imperfect lives are salved by the perfectly entertaining pseudo-people we glaze at every night. We have no more need of myths and magic. Big Brother will mention them during sweeps week should a rating disappear.

We, of course, have risen above that. We, the webbed surfers control our TV's with our rodent/key-bored big Back buttons. We've graduated from the couch college into the interactive age. We would never spend hours on end drooling at the screens, would we?

Try going for a walk. Read a book. Write a letter to your mom. Do something with your life.
